This kit comes with basic sashiko embroidery and mending supplies that can be used for quick mending patches. However the kit is made to make a patch of overlapping 1.5”x1.5” and 1.5”x2” squares using Diana Fitzgerald (Banjoflannel) patchwork sashiko method. It includes a muslin square and fabric to cut into the squares and then baste on the muslin patch. I recommend buying the book on Amazon she has a lot of amazing information in there. The other supplies the ruler, frixion pen, needle minder etc can be used for other projects. This is a great kit to bring on vacation or for beginners.
