East Sac Stitch is a small, independently owned fabric and sewing shop based in Sacramento, California, born out of a love for beautiful fabrics, creative expression, and the community that comes with making things by hand.

Hi! I'm the founder of East Sac Stitch, a nurse practitioner, mom, and lifelong creative who rediscovered sewing during a particularly challenging chapter of my life. What started as a way to find a little joy, structure, and peace quickly turned into something much bigger: a dream of building a welcoming space where creativity and community come together.

I believe sewing is about so much more than making things. It's about slowing down, connecting with others, learning something new, and finding happiness in the little details. And I firmly believe that the materials we use should be just as fun and inspiring as the things we create.

At East Sac Stitch, you'll find a thoughtfully curated collection of modern quilting cottons, playful prints, colorful fabrics, adorable notions, and beginner-friendly projects. We especially love independent designers, whimsical patterns, and tools that are as delightful as they are useful.

Whether you're an experienced quilter, a curious beginner, a burned-out healthcare worker looking for a creative outlet, or someone who just really loves beautiful fabric, there's a place for you here.

We're starting small, selling online, offering local pickup, and popping up at markets and quilting events around Sacramento, with a big dream of someday opening a brick-and-mortar shop.
