Welcome to East Sac Stitch! We're a small, independently owned fabric shop based in Sacramento, California. Here's everything you need to know about shopping with us.

Where is East Sac Stitch located?

We're based in East Sacramento, California! We're currently an online shop with local porch pickup and appearances at pop-up markets, quilt shows, and community events. Our dream is to eventually open a brick-and-mortar quilt shop.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes! We offer free local porch pickup in East Sacramento. Simply select Local Pickup at checkout. We'll contact you when your order is ready with pickup instructions.

Do you have a physical storefront?

Not yet! For now, you can shop online, pick up locally, or visit us at one of our pop-up events. Follow us on Instagram @eastsacstitch for upcoming events and announcements.

What kinds of fabric do you carry?

We specialize in modern quilting cottons, whimsical prints, colorful basics, and thoughtfully curated fabric collections. We especially love Ruby Star Society, independent designers, and fabrics that bring a little extra joy to your sewing projects.

You'll also find sewing notions, patterns, kits, and other adorable (and actually useful!) sewing supplies.

What is a fabric preorder?

Preordering allows you to reserve fabric from an upcoming collection before it arrives in our shop.

Estimated arrival dates are provided in product descriptions, but they are not guaranteed. Manufacturer production and shipping schedules can change.

Can I order preorder and in-stock items together?

Yes! However, orders containing both preorder and in-stock products may be held until all items are available to ship.

If you'd like your in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing separate orders.

What is a notions preorder?

Just like fabric preorders, notions preorders allow you to reserve upcoming sewing tools, accessories, and supplies before they arrive.

Manufacturer release dates and availability may change.

How is fabric sold?

Unless otherwise noted, yardage is sold in the increments listed on each product page.

When possible, multiple quantities of the same fabric will be cut as one continuous piece.

Precuts, fat quarters, bundles, and kits are sold as described in their individual listings.

Do you offer beginner-friendly sewing projects?

Absolutely! One of the reasons East Sac Stitch exists is to encourage more people to discover the joy of sewing.

We love beginner-friendly patterns, approachable projects, and kits that make getting started a little less intimidating.

Do you ship orders?

Yes! We offer shipping within the United States. Available shipping options and rates are calculated at checkout.

Can I return or exchange an item?

Please review our Return Policy for details. Because fabric is cut specifically for each order, cut yardage and certain other items may not be eligible for returns.
